Temperature over a lake in WPS

Dear WRF Experts,

I would like to know the following:

(1) What temperature is assigned over an inland lake in WPS?

(2) If I want to change the temperature of the lake, which variable should I modify in the geo_em or metgrid files?

Here's the location of the lake: Laguna Lake, Philippines

Thanks in advance for the help!

Lyndz,
The temperature of the lake depends on your input data and whether you use the lake model (sf_lake_physics = 1) when running WRF, which will predict TSK for the lake points. If you don't use lake physics (sf_lake_physics = 0) all inland bodies of water will be treated as water points, similar to the treatment of ocean points, using either TSK or SST as input.
