Hello, WRF team

I am using wps-4.1 and wrf-4.1 for a two nest long simulation (~one year).

I have a problem with ground heat flux at lake grids. I used Unified Noah land-surface model for simulation, and the results show that GRDFLX of once frozen lake grids will always have a constant value when it back to water body (the GRDFLX of not frozen water grids are zero in default).

In addition, I used sst_update=1, does the GRDFLX problem affect the simulation results (other variables such HFX, LH, RAINNC...) ? How can I solve this problem?

Due to the wrfout files are too large for the whole year, I have attached the figures of results (in Flux.docx). There are also several typical wrfout in google drive (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1C1WZyG_r6UY2Wa5PkPNr07gYkq3E3cjc/view?usp=sharing).

Thanks!

Yuanlin
