Can WRF create summary forecast for a whole day ?

Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible for WRF to summarize the hourly forecast in some sort of a average forecast for the whole day ?
I could not find any configuration for namelist.input file and maybe there isn't one, but I'll be very glad if somebody can shed some light
over this matter.
The reason I am asking is because I'm trying to compare WRF output with another data source that is giving whole day forecast.

There is no built-in capability for this in WRF, however, perhaps through some sort of post-processing, or modification of the code, it could be done. Perhaps someone who has some ideas or experience will see this post and be able to help.

Yes, that's definitely a job for an external tool. But then, it's something that could even be easy to program, as it'd just need to average the results for the entire day.
