Forcing a LES with auxiliary input?

Hello all, I've used the WRF SCM before and I'm familiar with using netcdf auxiliary input to force that model, but I am wondering if there is something similar I can do with the WRF LES idealized case. I have large-scale and surface forcing netcdf files, but I am not sure how to "turn on" forcing for the LES case. Is this a capability that would have to be added to WRF separately? Or can I use auxiliary input to drive the LES somehow?

Thanks!
Ben

Hi Ben,
I don't believe we have an existing capability to do what you're wanting to do, but it is possible that the code can be modified to do this. All auxiliary input should be available to idealized runs just like they are for real data runs or the single column model runs. Are you planning to overwrite some or all model simulated fields completely in some part of the domain with your driving data?
