WRF NetCDF output when using NMM or ARW

Hello WRF support team,

My question is the following: when writing NetCDF output from the WRF model (using NMM or ARW), what exactly is written in file? I would like to know whether the average data or the last step data is written in file.

Alex,
All variables in wrfout are instantaneous. That is, they are the data at the time step when the wrfout is written.
