We are currently running the WRFV4.0 in real-time and using the operational NCEP GFS to initialize the model. The machine that we are running the system on does not have Internet access, and the version of the GFS that we are getting to provide initial and boundary conditions for the WRF do not contain any soil temperature or moisture. We would prefer to run the model with Noah Land Surface Model, but without those inputs we are not able. Does anyone have any suggestions on a dataset that we could maybe utilize that would be static that we could provide the modeling server that the WRF could utilize since there is a lack of Internet connectivity for the server, or another suggestion of getting around this problem.
