I'm trying to run OBSGRID for a period of 6 months with hourly data, but when I excede 1000 hours I get the following error message:

Code:
Time period #00997 is for date 2019-02-13_12:00:00
Time period #00998 is for date 2019-02-13_13:00:00
Time period #00999 is for date 2019-02-13_14:00:00
Time period #01000 is for date 2019-02-13_15:00:00
Time period #01001 is for date 2019-02-13_16:00:00

------------------------------------------------------------
          ERROR EXIT
Too many time periods for processing have been specified.

I know I can get the metoa_em* files in batches, and I make the OBS_DOMAIN files with another script, but I don't know how join or use the wrfsfdda* files if I run OBSGRID in batches.
Is there a way to merge those files or use them, or there is some way to change the maximum time periods?
