Adaptive time step like WRF in MPAS

Hi all,

I have tested MPAS on many cases and found that the time step can even up to 18 * min(dx) in weak wind speed cases. Due to this amazing fact, I think adaptive time step is very valuable in MPAS for operational use, especially in high resolution. I would like to know if there is any plan to implement the adaptive time step into MPAS in the future?

I am sorry to tell that this is not our top priority to implement adaptive time step for MPAS integration.
