Hello there,

I am trying to use cu_physics (Kain-Fritsch (new Eta) scheme) with mp_physics (Ferrier (new Eta) microphysics), or some other combination with mp_physics but always withcu_physics Kain-Fritsch scheme and the model always stops or abort.

I am currently running a simulation with the "old" scheme of Kain-Fritsch, code 99 and another Modified Kain-Fritsch scheme with trigger function based on PDFs (ARW only); code 10. My domains are of high resolution, but I don't know the problem of running with cu_physics (Kain-Fritsch (new Eta) scheme).

Code:

= BAD TERMINATION OF ONE OF YOUR APPLICATION PROCESSES
= PID 113675 RUNNING AT TITAN1
= EXIT CODE: 11
= CLEANING UP REMAINING PROCESSES
= YOU CAN IGNORE THE BELOW CLEANUP MESSAGES

The old Kain-Fritsch scheme is regarded as 'out-of-date' and we no longer maintain it. Is it possible that you use the updated scheme (cu_physics=1)?
