Is there any current work on FDM matrix solve methods over FVM loop solving methods?
For cartesian grids, 3d operators for gradient, divergence, and curl are easily formulated, allowing for more efficient GPU usage.
However, for unstructured grids, it seems a lot more difficult to allow for formulation of matrix multiplication and discrete operators.
