Download SST data

Hi All,

I'm trying to run a simulation in a coastal region that requires an SST field. I'm using ERA5 as the forcing dataset, but I'm unsure where to obtain the SST field data and how to convert them to an intermediate format.

I would really appreciate any guidance or help you can provide.

Take a look at this presentation - slide 6 provides some links to some SST data. As for converting the data from netCDF format to intermediate format, see this chapter of the WRF Users' Guide for details about the process, and then take a look at this forum thread - specifically the post by mgduda on 9/1/21, which provides some potential python scripts for the process.
