Hi all,
I'm having an issue with ungrib program while using the ERA-5 land data (ERA5-Land monthly averaged data from 1950 to present).
I'm getting the following error message after running the ungrib program:
*** Starting program ungrib.exe ***
Start_date = 2017-03-01_00:00:00 , End_date = 2017-03-04_00:00:00
output format is WPS
Path to intermediate files is ./
*** stopping in gribcode ***\n
\tI was expecting a Grib1 file, but this is a Grib2 file.
\tIt is possible this is because your GRIBFILE.XXX files
\tare not all of the same type.
\tWPS can handle both file types, but a separate ungrib
\tjob must be run for each Grib type.\n
STOP gribsize in gribcode
Only one GRIB file got downloaded from the climate data store, and linked that as GRIBFILE.AAA. Could someone help me with troubleshooting this issue?
Also, how can I use both the ERA-5 pressure level data and land data for the 'ungrib' program?
