forrtl: error (78): process killed (SIGTERM)

Hi WRF team:

I am running a way 4-nested domain for the period 2023-08-15 to 2023-08-24, my forcing data is NARR, and after 6 days of simulation, I got the error (78), which is probably due to model unstable since I got a lot of CFL errors. I tried several ways, including reducing time steps (30s, 45s and 60s), adding smooth_cg_topo = .true. But, it still doesn't work. You can check my namelist at /glade/derecho/scratch/yqhuang/WRF/test/em_real Is there anything wrong with my settings?

I first would like to apologize for the long delay in response. We have been occupied with trying to get our code ready for a new release and have gotten behind on forum posts. Thank you for your patience.

I just took a look in your Derecho directory and it looks like your most recent simulation was successful. Does this mean you have gotten past the problem?

Thank you for your reply! Yes, I got over this by changing the microphysics schemes, I think that's the reason for the instability!
