GFS Data not downloaded

Is anyone facing a problem downloading GFS NCEP data? I can not download the data from their archive.

Hi,
As an alternative, you can try downloading from the NSF NCAR RDA site.

The real-time GFS model level data can be downloaded from:

Index of /pub/data/nccf/com/gfs/prod

Note that only forecast in the past 10 days can be found in this website. It is useful for people who conduct real-time forecast.

For hindcast, NCAR RDA site Kelly mentioned above could be a good option for downloading GFS data.
