How to modify the parameters of a physical model in an existing physical scheme

Hi,
We all know that there are different physical schemes that can be configured in the namelist.input file of WRF, and my question at the moment is how to find ways to modify the physical model in the target scheme, for example, the model at the bottom of the model in the Surface Layer Scheme that calculates the wind profile（I want to add wave conditions to an existing surface roughness length Z0 model, including wave parameters such as wave height and wave period）, rather than just by modifying the scheme configuration options in the namelist.input file replace the physical scheme with a different one.

If I understand correctly, I guess you want to add new features to WRF.
In this case you need to modify relevant codes. I don't know the details of your plan and we no longer support such efforts due to limited human power in our group.
