How to simulate Typhoon?

I am a beginner, I want to know if I want to imitate the performance of typhoons (or tropical whirlwinds). How should I act?
In fact, I have developed a tropical whirlwind simulation in the ideal mode. But because I don't know how to set the position of a whirlwind, I haven't tried whether to use the WindFarm_opt option for settings.

I have the following questions:
1. Do typhoon simulations only need to be done according to the real meteorological data (the days with typhoons) and the corresponding grid area?
2. Can the scope and wind speed of the typhoon be set under the ideal mode? And open the WindFarm_opt option for the simulation of the wind farm？
3. I want to know how to determine the relevant location of the tropical whirlwind in the ideal test case.Although I modified the corresponding RMAX / VMAX and other information in the source code, there was no special difference when using the VAPOR tool for visualization.
4. How much is recommended for the resolution under typhoon simulation? Is 1km*1km feasible?

You can run ideal TC for theoretical TC studies, or you can run real-time cases to simulate TCs.

No, we won't recommend doing so. Note that TC simulation has nothing to do with wind farm scheme.

For real-time TC simulation, usually 3km is sufficient. However, 1-km is feasible and may yield better simulation of TC intensity.
