Issue with the VEGPARM.TBL

I am trying to run the real simulation using MPAS-7.3 with the input files given in the MPAS website. But I am facing the following issue when I tried to run ./atmosphere_model

forrtl: severe (59): list-directed I/O syntax error, unit 16, file /home/cas/phd/asz218002/MPAS/real/VEGPARM.TBL

May I know what is the cause and solution of this problem.

Apologies for the delay in responding. The cause of the "list-directed I/O syntax error" isn't immediately clear to me. Can you report on what you see if you run "ls -lL /home/cas/phd/asz218002/MPAS/real/VEGPARM.TBL"?

If you run "head -n 2 VEGPARM.TBL", do you see something like the following?

Vegetation Parameters
USGS

And for "tail -n 2 VEGPARM.TBL", do you see

URBAN
13

Thank you for the reply Sir. I have solved this problem. Actually the physics tables I had were of older version but now I have found the tables that are compatible with MPAS-7.0 and above.
