LANDSEA from FNL data

Hi all,

I got a problem while running WPS with FNL data.
I am using WPS version 4.0. And study period is from 2014 to 2016.

From 12/1/2014 to 1/14/2015 00 UTC, LANDSEA variable from met_em file shows unreasonable values.

But after 1/14/2015 06 UTC, LANDSEA looks fine (I used the same namelist and Vtable!).

Because of this issue, it generates an error in WRF. I've searched a lot but I couldn't get any clue so far.

Is there anyone who faced the same issue?
 
How about the FNL data before 12/1/2014? Are they look fine?
We know that NCEP upgraded GFS output format on 1/15/2015, and we updated Vtable accordingly. I am concerned whether the updated Vtable can process old GFS data.
