hello,

I am new to WRF, WPS4.5 includes LCZ injection to the model. Do I have to generate a LCZ maps from LCZ generator separately and convert it as mentioned in the documentation or is it not required anymore.(does it gets converted automatically into lcz classes,my brain is not functioning) ? My city doesnot have LCZ1:compact high rise, so, should i leave this column blank or keep it as '0' in URBANPARM_LCZ.TBL?.

my geo_data_res = 'lCZ +default'

I would like to thank the whole community for being so helfpul , I was not expecting this much of support. I am trying my best to run my first simulation in WRF.

I am using Local climate zone for urban temeprature studies by T.R oke , for urban parameterization.

Hi,
Apologies for the delay in response.

No, you don't need to do so. You can download the CGLC_MODIS_LCZ_global data. Look for it in the green section for WPS Geographical Input Data for Specific Applications.

No, you should keep URBANPARM_LCZ.TBLE unchanged.
