Lightnings not produced after start of child domain

Hi,
I have a problem with the lightning physics. I have 3 domains. The parent domain starts at 06hZ, and both child domains start 12 h later, at 18hZ.
I get flash rate and flash count values until 18hZ in domain 1. But soon after, the flash accumulated and flash rate values are zero for domain 1. The problem starts when the domain 2 and 3 start. What could be the cause ?

If I start all the domains at the same time, I get values for the accumulated flash counts during at least 4h. Also for domain 2 as I have seen. I can't tell for the domain 3 because it is smaller and there should be no thunderstorm these days. When all the domains starts at the same time, it seems okay. I have run a test with a 4 hours run.

That's good to hear. Instead of us diving deep into the code to figure out why this happening, would you be okay with just simply starting the domains at the same time for your simulation?

Thank you for your reply. I don't think that I can start all the domains at the initialization time, because I have limited computer resources, and the run would be too long.
