real.exe does not run

I've been having trouble trying to run real.exe. We installed WRF with the dm+sm option. The simulation starts running and after a few minutes it stops to write, it doesn't show any error messages. It only stops when it times out or if I cancel it. Please, can someone help me with this problem?

Hi,
I'd like to apologize for the very long delay in response while we've had to tend to other obligations. Since it's been so long, I first want to ask if you're still experiencing this issue. It looks like I've been discussing a WRF issue with you in this thread. Are the problems related?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I found the solution to my problem in this thread:

But I have been trying to run this same WRF installation (dm+sm option) with a bigger test and I have problems in real.exe as well. After about two minutes I get the following error message:

Can you help me with this new issue?

Great! Thank you for taking the time to post the solution. Since the new issue is different than the original one posted here, will you open a new thread to post about your latest problem? This helps to keep the forum easier to read and search in the future.
