Hi,
I would like to initialize my WRF run using GFS realtime data.
The atmospheric fields and surface fields are written in separate files.
The atmospheric fields have filenames that look like this, gfs.t00z.pgrb2.0p25.anl.
The surface fields is after 1 dt integration and has filename "gfs.t00z.sfluxgrbf000.grib2". I needed the soil temperature and soil moisture variables. There is an inconsistency in atmospheric and surface fields because of the 1dt integration. Possible solution is that I will use gfs.t00z.pgrb2b.0p25.f000.
From what I understand from the user guide, I would be following "Using Multiple Meteorological Data Sources". Please correct me if that is not the case.
What Vtable should i use in running ungrib for the sfluxgrbf000.grib2 files. I do not see a matching one in the pre-defined Vtable directory.
Thanks
Agnes
