Selection of processors for HPC running WRF-Chem

My university is purchasing servers that we will be using to run WRF-Chem. The choices of processors we were given are (1) Intel Xeon Gold 6548Y+ 2.5G, 32C/64T and (2) AMD EPYC 9534 2.45GHz, 64C/128T. AMD EPYC 9534 has twice many of cores (64 vs. 32) but 1.5 times of the memory channels (12 vs. 8) compared to Intel Xeon Gold 6548Y+. Therefore, I think the memory bandwidth per core is higher for the Xeon processor. I am wondering if the (33%) high memory bandwidth per core will lead to substantially improved simulation speed when running WRF-Chem. We typically run the model with 200-500 cores.

I would also great appreciate if you have any suggestions on selecting processors and/or configurating HPC systems for running WRF-Chem.
