the source of the WPS geographical static data for specific applications

I would like to test the WRF Noah-MP crop model and have downloaded the optional static fields (crop, groundwater, soilgrids). However, there is no documentation explaining these datasets, such as groundwater data. I would like to know which datasets they refer to and their sources.

I am sorry to tell that we never have a document for 'crop' module in NoahMP. Our expert who developed this module left NCAR soon after this scheme was incorporated into WRF and he didn't find time to write a document.

The make things worse, we have experienced various issues when running 'Crop' module and we couldn't find solutions to such problems. For this reason, we don't recommend our users to implement this module.
