The wrfout file should be output hourly, but it is output every three days. And the hourly wrfout file can be output normally with chem module off.

I used to use the meteorological model WRF. Recently, I added the chemical module and recompiled it. However, the wrfout file that should have been output hourly has been output every three days. When the chemical module is turned off, the hourly wrfout file can be output normally. I want to know if it is the problem of selecting some chemical schemes. This is my namelist document for reference.

sorry you didnt attach any file yet

btw, i wanna know the output that u say before, the file output or the interval data inside the wrfout? can you send screenshot or copy of your wrfout dimensions? use ncdump -h (file_name), look at the time information

from your namelist you run only domian 1, and you set interval in 21600 that mean 6 hour interval data, thats normal also i didnt see any interval setting for chemical data and all chem configuration looks good,
how about chem data preparation? do you use any chem input like anthro or mozbc or bio emiss? if you use some kind of that, how you prepare that data like configuration on (.inp) data, do you set the interval same as namelist.input?
