Time output bug (MPAS V8.2 )

WHY

New member
Dear experts,

I'm running a climate simulation for over 40 years using MPAS V8.2. However, after running for several days, the time output becomes irregular (as shown in picture).
I began my simulation on 1978-01-01, but after 1995-01-06, the time output becomes abnormal. And if i began on 1978-01-05, the time after 1995-01-10 also becomes abnormal.

Could you attach your namelist.atmosphere file? If you directly print the Time and xtime variables in your model output files containing 1995-01-06 with ncdump (e.g., ncdump -v Time and ncdump -v xtime), do you see irregular values there?

Thank you for your help!
The 'Time' and 'xtime' outputs are shown in the attachments.
The output of 'xtime' is fine, but the output of 'Time' looks strange.
