Dear WRF community,

I have a question about the default values in URBPARM.tbl. Are this values obtained for specific city? If they are based on the previous studies, could you please share the links to the studies from which these default WRF values were obtained?

Thank you very much.

Hi, I am not sure exactly how these parameter table values came, but they may be some global mean values with some updated from some previous studies over specific cities. I cannot find the references now. Maybe you could check with Prof. Alberto Martilli (CIEMAT, Spain).
Here is another info: Update urban LCZ parameter table with more reasonable values (#1969) · wrf-model/WRF@6156b78
Hi!

Thank you very much for your reply.

I’ll reach out to Prof. Alberto Martilli for further clarification. I’ll also check the update on the LCZ parameter table.

Highly appreciate your help.
