Hello everyone. I am currently running a benchmark test-case with WRF and was trying to figure out how to run a RANS simulation using dry dynamical core (just momentum and thermal energy) of a limited-area test-case like the Askervein hill.
I am quite new to WRF, and got a bot lost in the procedure of how to generate a terrain using WPS (WRF preprocessing tool).
To my understanding I need to to have a GEOGRID.TBL.ARW file, a namelist.wps and all binary information about a lot of things (among which the topography of my terrain) to run then the geogrid.exe.
I was wondering if any incredibly nice soul has already run the Askervein hill test-case and is willing to share with me the file he/she used to generate the terrain and then the input file to use in WRF to run the simulation.
Or at least point to me to a public (but well hidden as I am not finding it) repository where I can find such files.
Thank you so much
