Using ndown to multiple wrfinput

Hi, I want to make two separate run for a total of 5 domains, where 3 of them are run separately with a two-way nesting and 2 others run with ndown and with one way-nesting. But apparently, when running ndown.exe, I only have one wrfinput file at the end, even if I have two wrfndi, why ? is it possible to generate multiple wrfinput with ndown ?

You will find the attached namelist.input for ndown and a screenshot of my ndown folder when I run everything with symbolic link and rename of files. Also I put the rsl.error.

Thank in advance,

Hi,
First I'd like to apologize for the long delay in response. Members of the support team have been out of the office a lot over the past month.

Unfortunately the NDOWN program only allows you to run it for one domain at a time. You can still use it to do what you want, but you will just need to run ndown between d03 and d04, and then again between d04 and d05. This section of the Users' Guide explains how to handle the naming convention of the files when doing it this way (scroll down to the section titled 'One-way Nesting Using Ndown.'
