Vortex Following:Splitting of nested domain data

Hi,I am trying to simulate typhoon using Vortex Following compile. In many simulated data, there is a clear disconnect between the nested domain and the parent domain. The smoothing option has been enabled, but the effect is not significant. I am confused whether this situation is normal?

I have previously specified options related to vortex following, but the data showed severe fragmentation, as shown in Figure 1. Figure 2 shows the namelist.input without setting relevant options and using default settings, but there is still fragmentation.

My namelist.input file is attached. Thanks very much.

Hi,
It's not unusual to see the outline of the child domain within the parent domain. Typically users aren't interested in the results from the parent domain, so this doesn't make a difference. It doesn't affect the results for d01, but you will see the outline (like you see above) which visualizing the parent domain.

Can you try setting feedback = 0 and see if that makes a difference?
The problem has been solved. I didn't set feedback=0, but I changed auxinput4_interval=60,60,60 to auxinput4_interval=60 and turned off the fdda of the subdomain. I haven't tried which one affects it yet, but the effect is shown in the picture
