Good morning, I am trying to run an idealized LES simulation with WRF in the case of a stable PBL. How can I impose a time-dependent cooling rate at the surface? I found a 2021 article (Evaluation of idealized large-eddy simulations performed with the Weather Research and Forecasting model using turbulence measurements from a 250 m meteorological mast) where this is done, but I am not clear on how to proceed operationally.
