I am confused while choosing geo_data_res for UCM. Since my domain is Asia(Nepal) , I cannot choose NUDAPT33_1KM and urbdrac_nlcd2011 because it says "Only for USA". So, can I keep my geo_Data_res= 'cglc_modis_lcz + Default'. for all domain?

I am using WPS4.5 , do I have to download any static data for cglc_modis_lc? Since there is a separate TBL file, can I use "ln -s GEOGRID.TBL.ARW_LCZ GEOGRID.TBL" before running geogrid.exe?

You should be able to run WPS with the option geo_Data_res= 'cglc_modis_lcz + Default'

The ln -s command is OK. But remember to rename your previous GEOGRID.TBL.

Hey chen , why should I rename it? For backup?

You mean, when I list my files there should only be a single list of geogrid?

For example :

Geogrib.tbl ->> geogrib.tbl.arw_lcz

If you always have a Geogrid.TBL in your working directory, then if you link another file to it, this newly linked file will overwrite the previous Geogrid.TBL. This is why I suggest that you rename the old Geogrid.TBL just incase you will need it later.
