wrflowinp_d01 SST field over land is similar to ERA5 2m temperature

hello, my WRF run has used ERA5 SST update, and when I check the wrfilowinp_d01 SST, I found it similar to ERA5 T2m over land. Why they are same? question.png

Hi,
Because there is not SST data over land, the model uses TSK (skintemp) values for SST values over land. In the two images above, you can see that they differ over water points, which is expected since real.exe is able to use the SST data over those points when creating the wrflowinp file.
