Hello,

I'm getting messages from real.exe like this:

*** -> Check your wrfinput_d01 file, you might have input pressure levels too close together ( 20044.20 Pa and  19999.90 Pa) at ( 164,   2) for variable type Z
*** -> Check your wrfinput_d01 file, you might have input pressure levels too close together ( 19515.27 Pa and  19484.07 Pa) at ( 144,   9) for variable type Z
*** -> Check your wrfinput_d01 file, you might have input pressure levels too close together ( 20044.20 Pa and  19999.90 Pa) at ( 164,   2) for variable type T
*** -> Check your wrfinput_d01 file, you might have input pressure levels too close together ( 19515.27 Pa and  19484.07 Pa) at ( 144,   9) for variable type T
*** -> Check your wrfinput_d01 file, you might have input pressure levels too close together ( 20047.58 Pa and  19999.90 Pa) at ( 165,   2) for variable type U
*** -> Check your wrfinput_d01 file, you might have input pressure levels too close together ( 19530.19 Pa and  19484.56 Pa) at ( 220,   7) for variable type V
*** -> Check your wrfinput_d01 file, you might have input pressure levels too close together ( 20049.30 Pa and  19999.91 Pa) at ( 177,  17) for variable type V

I kind of understand that this is probably normal and everything is fine, but I want to double check. Should I do any action about those messages or just ignore it?

Hi Ivan,
I first would like to apologize for the extremely long delay in response to this post. It seems that this must have been overlooked by the person in charge of this section of the forum. It is not our intention to keep you waiting so long.

I assume that you have likely moved on since this was posted. I've not ever seen this warning message before, but as it's a warning and not an error, I think it's best to just approach it with caution. If you are able to move forward and your results look reasonable, then it's probably not a problem. I would advise to just do short tests to determine whether things look okay before moving on.
