I want to add a 3D temperature field to the output of MPAS-A (v7.3). I have seen in the documentation that there is a field called "temperature", on the vertical levels. But when I try to output this field in the stream diagnostic, by adding "temperature" in the file stream_list.atmosphere.diagnostics, I do not see any additional output. What could be the cause ? If I add for instance "scalars", I can see qv variable in the diagnostic files, but "temperature" is hidden or missing. "relhum" gives the relative humidity on the vertical levels as expected.
