Hello, I'm attempting to simulate a hurricane using the axisymmetric version of the CM1. I'm fairly new to Unix/Fortran, but have been able to navigate around the model somewhat. I currently have the release of cm1r21.1.
I've tried to modify the namelist settings to account for the hurricane test case, and when looking in the source code, I found the preset that initialized a maximum tangential wind (iwnd=8). However, I've been unable to find a setting that allowed me to successfully set the radius of maximum tangential wind (to 40 km), even though I listed it as 40000 in param21.
I'll attach my namelist, any insight on potential errors would be greatly appreciated!
