cloud-borne aerosols and CCN

Hi all,

What is the difference between cloud-borne aerosols and CCN in WRF-chem output with the MOSAIC 4-bin scheme? Is the aerosol transferred from interstitial aerosol to cloud-borne only after being activated as CCN? e.g,. Can bc_cw03 be considered as the black carbon activated as CCN at bin 3?
