I am running the WRF3.9-Chem with MOSIAC of 4 bins. Did anyone compare aerosol online and offline optical properties for closure study? The problem I got is the offline aerosol absorption coefficient (babs) by Mie theory in surface layer is much smaller than the online babs, which former babs is 0~100Mm-1 and latter babs is 0~400Mm-1.
Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
