Dear all,
I have previously used WRF-Chem and prepared the mission files using the anthro_emis tool.
Currently, I am following the WRF-GHG documentation from WRF-GHG user guide - Data repository of BIRA-IASB .
However, the following line is from the same documentation:
'There are several tools made
available in the WRF-Chem user community that may be used for this purpose: prep chem sources,
convert emis, anthro emiss etc. However, the suitability of these tools might vary among the choice
of your domain and chemical mechanism. In my personal experience, these programs haven’t
proven to be the most efficient for WRF-GHG simulations. '
Hence, my questions are:
1. Is there any alternate tool available specifically for WRF-GHG?
2. I found a Python library GitHub - rnoeliab/WRF-GHG-Prepy: This repository reproduces the input files necessary to run the WRF-VPRM model. on GitHub, but I'm not sure if it serves the purpose or not. Any comments?
3. For the anthro_emis tool, a sample namelist script is provided from WRF-Chem. Is there any such sample namelist script available for WRF-GHG using anthro_emis?
4. It seems that the steps needed to run WRF-GHG are a little different from WRF-Chem. Can someone please help me with that?
4. Also, can someone please provide me with an example input file for WRF-GHG?
Thanks
