global data assimilation with WRFDA

Hi,
I am trying on global data assimilation with WRFDA-4.3.2. I failed with cv_options=3 (Segmentation fault)or cv_options=5 (NAN in gradient). I could not get any information on global data assimilation with WRFDA in the user manual. The codes in WRFDA imply a choice for ARW_global. Can WRFDA be employed for global 3DVAR ? Thanks.
