how generate mesh partition file for MPI parallel processing

Hello.

I need to generate a specific partition file that is not available depending on the resolution of the mesh:
https://mpas-dev.github.io/atmosphere/atmosphere_meshes.html

For instance, for the 30-km mesh, there are partition files available only from 48 partitions (x1.655362.graph.info.part.48).
Please, how can we generate files for a smaller number of partitions?

The command for creating mesh partition files with Metis is described in Section 4.1 of the User's Guide.
