sphere_radius constraint in mpas2esmf utility

sphere_radius must be equal to 1 when using mpas2esmf utility

However, netcdf header in my files shows 'sphere_radius = 6371229.'
I don't know where it has been set to the above value? I want to use mpas2esmf utility, what needs to be done?

The sphere radius is expanded from 1.0 m to 6371229.0 m by the init_atmosphere_model program. If you intend to use the mpas2esmf utility, you can use as input any of the mesh files from the MPAS-A mesh download page, which are provided on a unit sphere.

Thanks for the response. I downloaded the 7.5km quasiuniform mesh and extracted a regional domain over South of Atlantic for LAS experiments. As you have indicated, sphere_radius in grid.nc file is 1 but is changed in init.nc and static.nc files. I am interested in creating weights for my domain only. Can it be set to 1 by running init_atmosphere_core again? I am using MPASv7.3.
