Hello. I have some confusion about met_em files.
Why met_em files are created for all time steps in all the domains (met_em.d01, met_em.d02, ... etc) if the It is supposed the boundary conditions for inner domains are calculated from parent domain.

Hi,
It's actually not necessary to create met_em* files for more than the first time for nested domains, unless you are using something like SST update or nudging (which then it's important to have all times for all domains). It doesn't usually save a lot of time to NOT create the files for more than just the initial time, but if you want to just set d01 for the full simulation time period, and then d02, etc. for just the initial time, that is perfectly fine.
