NoahMP roughness length values

Hi,

I'm wondering what surface parameter table the NoahMP land surface model uses in WRF simulations. Is it the MPTABLE.TBL, VEGPARM.TBL or LANDUSE.TBL?

It should be MPTABLE.TBL, which I also see in the respective code for NoahMP in /phys, but I have read some papers that state different values for roughness length for specific land use types, which reflect values of the VEGPARM.TBL.

Hi,
You are correct - the MPTABLE.TBL is used with the NoahMP scheme. Perhaps the authors made some modifications in their work?
