Post-processing WRFv4 output on hybrid vert. coordinate

I wanted to be sure the following is true: Existing post-processing tools should work unmodified with the WRF v4+ hybrid vertical coordinate - they can use the standard output fields to carry out vertical interpolation (height, pressure, theta...) without any changes. I feel this should be true but wasn't certain. The additional variables to reconstruct hybrid vertical coordinate levels would then Not be necessary to work with the hybrid wrfout fields.

Regrets if this is a FAQ I missed.

You are right that the post process packages can be used for WRFV4.+.
