Hi,
in the code related to the dynamical core of WRF there are many references to equations that are supposed to be contained in something called ADT, e.g. "! ADT eqn 44, 2nd term on RHS".
What does this ADT stand for? Where can I find that document/paper?

Thanks for helping,
Matthias

Hi Matthias,
That's a good question. I'm not exactly sure what "ADT" stands for, but I believe the equations referenced are in the WRF Technical Note. Perhaps ADT has something to do with "advection terms?" I'm attaching the Tech Note so that you can look through and possibly find the equations mentioned in the code.

Thank you! I thought so, too, but the equations don't seem to fit to neither of the available tech notes versions (version 2, 3, and 4). Maybe it's an even older version, that is not available on the webpage anymore.
