We are excited to present a benchmark case for high-resolution WRF simulations over East Asia. The simulation domain spans 80°E-130°E and 15°N-55°N, covering most of the region. Key details of the setup include:
- Horizontal resolution: 3 km
- Vertical layers: 51, from the surface to 50 hPa
- Grid points: 1901 (west-east) × 1701 (south-north)
- Simulation period: 6 hours, from 2024-06-17 00 UTC to 2024-06-17 06 UTC
- Files generated with: WPS v4.3.1
- Compatibility: Can be used with any WRF v4.x version
