Adding GOES-R

Hello, my name is Marcelo Romero de Moraes and I am a user of the WRF model here in Brazil. I am starting to use MAD-WRF and would like to know if you could direct me to a tutorial that has information on how to enter GOES-R data at the start of (METGRID) WRF. Marcelo,
You have to write the GOES-R data in the WPS intermediate file format. You can take a look to this link:
https://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/wrf/OnLineTutorial/Basics/IM_files/sample.f90
If you click on the "WPS format" hyperlink you will be able to get a sample file with code (Fortran) to write in the intermediate file format.

First you will have to put the GOES-R data in a supported projection, and then can write the data in the intermediate format.
