Analysis Nudging and Observation Nudging

Hi! I’m working on improving wind speed prediction using WRF model. May I ask if analysis nudging (using reanalysis data, ERA5 data, as input) and observation nudging (using observed data as input) run independently when activated simultaenously in the namelist.input? Or does the model assimilate both analyzed data and observed data in the simulation?

I would suggest to run with OBS nudging. this is because the analysis nudging will introduce information from large scale forcing, which is of coarse resolution and cnanot really help to improve the results. In contrast, high-quality and high-density observations could be more helpful.
