Building and installing WRF+WPS using Spack method with AOCC +OpenMPI

Has anyone successfully installed WRF and WPS using Spack with AOCC and OpenMPI, or does anyone have a clean installation guide? I’m running into issues with the AOCC compiler provided by Spack, especially since WPS doesn’t natively support AOCC.
